As the demand for clean power escalates, engineers are designing larger, more efficient turbines capable of withstanding harsh marine environments. Recent innovations include floating platforms, direct-drive generators, and improved blade aerodynamics. These advancements aim to reduce the Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) and improve grid integration. This paper reviews state-of-the-art engineering solutions, technological trends, and the challenges faced by offshore wind projects globally.
