				 Drymaria cordata is one of the most important medicinal plants used by the different tribes of India and different parts of the world from the very long period of time. It is one of the traditional herbal medicines used as one of the ingredients in many native poly herbal formulations. In different countries it has different uses such as the plant is used in the treatment of peptic ulcer, headaches, nephritis, female infertility, sleeping disorders, convulsions, and febrile conditions in children.
