INTRODUCTION

The field of medical and scientific research has witnessed remarkable progress in recent years, with extensive efforts being made to translate fundamental scientific discoveries into tangible clinical applications. However, this translation process, known as translational research, often encounters several challenges (Melchart D et al., 1998). This journal aims to address these challenges by examining the efficacy of novel therapeutic approaches that have emerged from basic and clinical studies. By exploring the latest research findings, this review seeks to provide valuable insights into the progress made in various fields and identify potential areas for further investigation.
