Through different types of case exhibits and their pattern of examination in physics point-of-view, how the technology changes the hierarchy of old pattern. From the cases study, importance of new technology is exemplified, using the latest technique, computer based software to examine the exhibit. Importance in cases related to footwear impression, tyre-tread mark and tool marks analysis are reported.
