    Types of Infectious Diseases and Travel Clinics: their Role and Mechanism

    Infectious diseases are a significant concern for travellers, particularly those traveling to developing countries or areas with limited access to healthcare. Exposure to unfamiliar environments, new foods, and different hygiene practices can increase the risk of contracting infectious diseases. Travel clinics are specialized healthcare facilities that focus on providing pre-travel consultations, vaccinations, and post-travel evaluations. The main goal of travel clinics is to ensure that travellers are adequately prepared to prevent, detect, and manage infectious diseases. Infectious diseases have been a significant concern for human health for centuries. With the advent of air travel and globalization, the spread of infectious diseases has become more rapid and widespread than ever before.
