An anti-sickling compound, isolated from an ethanol extract of Enanthia Chlorantha, was partially characterized and probably identified to be Co-enzyme Q10 based on IR, 1H? and 13C?NMR spectroscopy in addition to its antioxidant property and soluble in dilute acid and base.
